Welcome to the World of Marichal Lahens

On history, beauty, culture, and the stories worth carrying forward.

There is history in the objects that surround us.

In the things passed from one generation to the next. In the rituals repeated so often they become instinctive. In the objects we encounter in our homes, our travels, our museums, and our everyday lives often without ever knowing the stories behind them.

Marichal Lahens was born from a desire to look closer.

To rediscover objects with a past and reimagine them for the present. To create pieces that are beautiful not simply for how they look, but for what they represent, where they came from, and the stories they allow us to carry forward.

Objects With a Past. Reimagined for the Present.

We believe the everyday can be extraordinary.

An object does not need to sit behind museum glass to be worthy of curiosity. Some of the most remarkable pieces of design are the ones we have lived alongside for generations the objects found in our kitchens, on our tables, in our homes, and woven into our rituals.

We look to these objects as a starting point.

Through thoughtful design, considered materials, and a sense of play, Marichal Lahens transforms familiar forms into unexpected, collectible pieces for modern life.

Our first piece, The Cafetera Claw Clip, began in exactly this way.

Inspired by the iconic stovetop coffee maker and the ritual surrounding it, The Cafetera takes an object deeply connected to everyday life and gives it an entirely new form one designed to be worn, collected, and perhaps one day passed along.

It is the first expression of what Marichal Lahens is becoming.

A World of Inspiration

Our curiosity has no borders.

We find inspiration in the halls of museums and the objects tucked away in family homes. In paintings, architecture, craftsmanship, old photographs, cities, landscapes, recipes, rituals, and the things people have created throughout history simply to make everyday life more beautiful.

We are drawn to pieces that make us want to know more.

Who made this?

Where did it come from?

Why did it look this way?

How did people use it?

And why, generations later, does it still capture our attention?

These questions are often where our designs begin.

Marichal Lahens is a celebration of discovery a world shaped by history and culture, but never confined to a single place or period.

What We Believe

History deserves to be remembered.

The past is an endless source of ideas, ingenuity, and beauty. We look backward not to reproduce what has already existed, but to discover what might be worth carrying forward.

The everyday can be extraordinary.

There is beauty in the familiar. We believe the objects that quietly accompany our lives can be just as worthy of admiration as those preserved behind glass.

Culture should inspire curiosity.

The world is filled with traditions, objects, and stories worth discovering. We approach them with curiosity, respect, and a desire to understand the histories that shaped them.

Beauty should have meaning.

A beautiful object can capture our attention. A beautiful object with a story can stay with us.

We aspire to create both.

Our Mission

Marichal Lahens exists to reimagine objects with history into collectible pieces for modern life preserving the stories, rituals, and beauty that deserve to be carried forward.

Every piece begins with a story.

And with every collection, we hope to invite you to discover it.

This Is Only the Beginning

The Cafetera is our first chapter, but the world of Marichal Lahens extends far beyond a single object, culture, or collection.

There are centuries of art to explore. Objects to rediscover. Places to visit. Traditions to learn from. Stories waiting to be told.

Some will become pieces.

Others may simply become stories we believe are worth sharing.

Together, they will shape the evolving world of Marichal Lahens.

A world for those who remain curious.

For those who find beauty in unexpected places.

And for those who believe the objects we choose to surround ourselves with should have something to say.

Welcome to Marichal Lahens.
